| New Orleans is home to one of the most spectacular displays of art and fun. For one week of the year, New Orleans comes to life with music, art, costumes, beads, and booze. Mardi Gras is the inspiration for my dragon costumes and the reason why they are bold, different, and colorful. I march every year at the Krewe of Tucks Parade as a Dragon of New Orleans. Many different costumes ranging in heights of 20 feet or more can be seen coming down the street. Throwing beads your way and you can only stare at the marvel before your eyes. Each dragon costume is different and hand made by the person wearing the costume in most cases. If you would like to see these costumes. Krewe of Tucks Saturday, February 18, 2012 Parade Starts at 12pm Look us up online! |
